Konbanwa mina ヽ(o^―^o)ノ!

Today I wanted to make a post to let you guys know a little bit more about me and some of my favorite things/hobbies :3. I've been pretty active in the anitwitter community for a little over a year now, and I know some of you guys have been following me for quite sometime now (thanks!!) and you've probably picked up things here and there about what I like or what type of person I am, but I just kinda wanted to make a post all about me and what I'm interested in and yeah! If you like any of the same things, plz don't be shy and tweet me/DM me and we can talk about it! Seriously, I would love to, and I always respond!

So as you may or may not know, I'm a senior in college (thank god!) and I'm getting ready to graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology! This year I've been conducting video game research and since it still in the process of being completed, I can't talk too much about what we're testing, but it's really cool and interesting and we have been contacted to be published in SCIENCE magazine for it and thats a pretty big deal! So its very cool. Videogame research is a very novel field and pays well, so if you think you may be interested in that (I know some a lot of my followers are still in high school or early in their college careers) you should definitely look into it!! It's been super fun and very fulfilling. Its like they say, "If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life!"

Once I graduate, I'm moving to Spain (in June) to be an Au Pair for this super amazing wonderful family who I click well with so much it makes me wanna cry how amazing it all is. I will be studying there in order to fill requirements for my dang visa (which, by the way, is one heck of a process! if you ever are applying for a visa, 1) it takes 3 months to process and 2) its taken me a month just to get everything together to even apply! ugh! almost over though ( ◡‿◡ ♡) ) in addition to working as an Au Pair by teaching this beautiful little 3 year old girl english!

Wow! Sry thats such a long background, but hey! now ya know more about me ;P

Onto whats featured in the picture up-top! So the first thing is collecting anime figmas/statues/nendoroids. It's quite the expensive hobby, so make sure you're patient with collecting or otherwise you'll go broke! I own the three that are pictured, as well as many others (I've posted them on twitter before so you may have seen them) and I love them so so much. I'm seriously gonna miss them so much while I'm in Spain *cries*. Speaking of missing things, the nest on my list is my xbox one! Now I KNOW, the whole debacle of the console wars and I don't wanna hear anything from PS4 owners. I love my xbox and idk what I'm going to do without all my videogames and the access to crunchyroll/hbo go/netflix it provides...sigh. Just a heads up, I'm moving in with this family in Spain so I have to pack lightly, so I can't be my dumb otaku self there. But! I will have my ipad/laptop with me, so I'll still be able to enjoy the third thing on my list which is my crunchyroll subscription. Now I only have the sub because of the fact I also buy figmas and such through crunchyroll and you get deals on them with your sub and what not, but I also enjoy the convenience of the website. You can also catch me on kissanime too because that website is equally as awesome and has a wider array of anime to watch.

The fourth thing on my list is a pitbull puppy and thats because I have a pit/lab mix puppy named Koda and hes so crazy and sweet and I love him to death because he seriously is like my son. The next thing is Studio Ghibli! Not only are the films fantastic and all hand drawn, the stories have been a part of my life since my childhood and each movie has great morals and lessons tied into them and they're just all around beautiful creations; s/o to Miyazaki for being the best out there! Also, fun fact! When I was a junior in high school, I got the SG emblem (the profile of totoro) on the middle of my upper back and its about the size of a post it note and its so perfect because either no one gets what it is, but when they DO its MAGICAL because they're so stoked about it and I end up gushing over Studio Ghibli movies with complete strangers for like 20 minutes and its the best. My top 3 that have come out of SG are 1) Spirited Away 2) Howls Moving Castle and 3) Whisper of the Heart!

The sixth thing are just cute plushies in general, but especially alpacasso. I'm waiting to order the blue one thats pictured because its out of stock currently because I rly want it to take with me when I move to Spain to keep a lil of my kawaii self with me but also to have someone keep me company at night as I start a new chapter in my life. Next up is a nintendo 3DS with the games Animal Crossing, ORAS, and Majoras Mask. Out of those three, Animal Crossing is my absolute favorite! Its such a cute little game and theres always things to do, and its great for anxiety because you can take the game at whatever pace you like and theres so many calming things you can do like gardening, fishing, ext. Its also great for anxiety because you can play it a lil bit each day since the time lapse in the game is the same as irl, so it gives you that sense of being productive even if its just a little bit in a game :) Up next is my phone and laptop, ya know, I practically live online so I love my lil gadgets.

Then theres traveling and the travel bag I RLY want, but from what I remember its kinda expensive so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it. As I've mentioned a million times already, I'm beginning the travel section of my life in just a couple months, cause once I move to Spain, I plan on traveling throughout Europe on the weekends and breaks to really broaden my horizons! I love learning new things, especially new things about different cultures, so I can't wait to take it all in.

Ah yes, the best part of all, my favorite foods. Who could go wrong with pizza, sushi, and a chipotle burrito? Imagine if I ate just those three things in one day, I would probably go into a comatose, but how lovely would it be? My favorite pizzas are green pepper pizza or hawaiian pizza. A lot of ppl talk down hawaiian pizza but like..HAVE YOU TRIED IT? Its like the perfect amount of sweetness of cheese and fruit and meat I feel like Ratatouille in that one scene where he eats a grape with cheese at the same time.

Last, AND CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, is my one and only bae, Kankei Ken. Yes, he is the main character in Tokyo Ghoul and yeah some ppl say the anime is over hyped, which maybe I can agree with to a point (but tbh if its not hyped to Attack on Titan level, is it even rly worth the notion of saying its overhyped?), but I'm totally in love with him and he's my favorite. It's funny because I actually completely hated him all season one because he was such a baby and annoying, but episode 12 changed me completely and now that Root A is airing right now, I can barely wait for every thursday to arrive. I just love his character development and how damaged and powerful he is, but hopefully he'll get it together soon enough. I've started to read the manga which I'm equally excited about because everyone says the manga is way better, especially when it comes to everyones favorite, Tsukiyama, so yeah! I'll probably post about it once I finish it since I read that the final manga chapter was released kinda recently so its now over, manga wise, so I can read it all the way through (correct me if I'm wrong). I rly want the hardcopies of the english version of the manga, but they're not going to be coming out for awhile which is sad because once they do come out, I'll be in Spain so I'm not rly sure what I'll do! Maybe I'll be able to get them online or something...wherever theres a will, theres a way!

So yeah! That was quite the read right? But now you know a lot about me! Like I said, if you see that we have any common interests, don't be shy and tweet me about it and we can gush over whatever it is that we both like ( ˘⌣˘)♡(˘⌣˘ )

Like always, thanks for reading! It makes me rly happy to see you guys favoriting this or retweeting it and it makes me fall even deeper in love with every one of you guys!!

Winter Anime~

So I know a lot of people are keeping up with some more than others, but heres the list of what I'm keeping up with this season as well as the ones I dropped:

Keeping Up:
1) Parasyte -the maxim-
2) Your Lie in April
3) Durarara x2
4) Aldnoah.Zero
5) Yowamushi Pedal
6) Kuroko's Basketball
7) Tokyo Ghoul
8) Death Parade

So all of these anime are amazing, especially Parasyte which is a top notch anime IMO. If you want gore/fighting/both you should 100% watch Parasyte and Tokyo Ghoul ~also watch TG for Kankei *swoons*~ Durarara is one of those anime which I'm not sure what catagory it falls into but its just so interesting and awesome, its all about gangs and mystic legends within Tokyo and its just banging. Plus the crew is so cool, I wanna be a part of it and eat a hot pot with them .。・゚゚・(>_<)・゚゚・。.! Both Yowamushi Pedal and Kuroko's Basketball are A1 sports anime, and I've never watched sports anime or really been interested in pursuing them, but these two have sucked me in and theyre so crazy, they make sports seem like you have magical powers or something of the sort. Aldnoah Zero is a cool mecha, and tbh I watch it mainly for the action, the storyline is okay, as well as the characters; still something you should watch though, especially if youre into mecha!
I JUST caught up on Death Parade last week and a lot of people sleep on it so thats why I'm giving a good explanation of it. The opener makes me so happy and the anime is just starting to get really interesting with character development, but it also has a strong basis of the anime; it focuses on this purgatory state you wind up in after you die, and you play a game to either enter heaven or hell. AT FIRST, this anime seems like its gonna be gory but tbh this anime has a shocking amount of feels and oddly enough it almost strikes me in a feel-good way? even though its about death? and don't get me wrong, there are some really messed up parts and it goes 0-100 in a second. Overall it has a great pacing between character development and story progression, as well as good balance between all the emotions it evokes, so its probably my favorite one of the winter season.

Dropped:
1) Saekano -How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend-
2) Cute High Defense Club LOVE!
3) Gourmet Girl Graffiti

Yo, all of these anime I dropped after the first like..2 episodes. I tried to give them a chance but theyre such the type of anime that arent created for the story, but more to fit the appeal of what people want and they just suck. Boring Girlfriend is just how it sounds, its boring and too much fanservice, plus they make pretty much all the girls dumb and I personally can't STAND those types, so this anime was just not for me. Cute High started off cute but the story is so boring and repetitive, like some kid at their school is mad and hates the world and then becomes some ridiculous monster that the ONE blondie of the crew stops almost immediately with the power of love and ugh, so lame. Honestly people must only watch it cause of the cute guys. Gourmet Girl looked really cute, but its overly sexualizing extremely underage girls eating food like I literally feel like I'm watching porn when I watch it, and I'm not some 17 year old weeaboo boy who jacks off to egirls so I was definitely over it. Sorry if you like these and you see me trashing them, but you gotta agree these are anime made to cater, not to be of any substance.

Welp, thats my thoughts on this seasons anime! feel free to comment below and lmk what you think are the best!

A couple weeks ago I bought a few things online, so here's my review and links of where to find the items!

Milky iPhone 5S Case
So this is my new phone case that I love oh so so much, and its from inu-inu and its seriously perfect. It has a nice feel and what I like about it best is the fact the white doesn't discolor quickly. I've had neko cases before and they were white and I swear the case discolored in a week and a half and I was so disappointed, so I'm super glad of the high quality of this case! The one thing I will say is its kinda prone to scratches, but thats all cases really (I mean, their whole purpose is so you don't get scratches on your phone but I'm anal about these things). Overall, its super cute and I'd give it a 10/10!
Anime Texting Tee
This tee is also from inu-inu. I'm really tall (6ft!) so I figured I would get a medium in this shirt because of my super long waist. Though, when I got it in the mail, it was huge! It was very baggy and very long, it went past the bottom of my front pockets on my jeans (if that gives you any clue). I was really worried about it and it did pass my mind to send it back to get a small, but I was too lazy to do it. But thank god I didn't! When I washed it, it shrank so much, practically to the perfect size I was hoping for in the first place. now it hangs just a little over the top seam of my jeans which is great, and its not as wide. SO! If you're thinking about buying it, keep in mind that it does shrink quiet dramatically! Its stil v cute and I have gotten many compliments, so if you like it, I say go for it!

Atashi Acrylic Phone Charm
This is my beautiful little Atashi from Chobits phone charm and its so cute and perfect I absolutely love it! Its from HideAwayMelon's etsy shop and its just one of many phone charms I want! Its acrylic so its a really nice material because it stays looking perf and nice despite you ((me)) throwing your phone around all the time, plus it has a little bell thats really charming and a nice touch; so if youre looking for affordably priced anime related phone charms, her etsy shop is the place to do it!
NYAN Cyber Mike Silicone 3DS XL COVER
I got this lil cutie simply on amazon, there are so many colors and choices to choose from, so if this is something you've been looking for, you'll definitely have a lot of options! I really like this case, its really cute, but the one thing that annoys me is the silicone texture; and ONLY cause I have a pet puppy who has black fur and it attaches to this thing like metal to a magnet, and its really annoying to get the hairs off because of the static. Also, the silicone can move around a bit, but I only notice because I'm very anal and particular about my things, so to most people it'd be no biggie. I was concerned about the straps possibly being annoying because once you open up your DS they aren't stretched out anymore and I thought they would be bulky but even my anal self doesn't even notice them so ya!

So there's my review on a couple things! Hope you maybe found a few things you liked! ♡~ <( ̄︶ ̄)> ~
